Music
Where God opens doors, we provide music for churches and church functions, nursing homes, community events, music festivals, homeless shelters, and pretty much any other opportunities that come our way. Our programs include a variety of styles; including traditional hymns, a cappella, instrumental arrangements, folk styles, original works, and old-fashioned Gospel bluegrass. Mixed in with our music there are times of testimony, exhortation, family introductions, and above all, a continual lifting up of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is first and foremost for HIM we play, and all of our music selections are chosen with that as our motive.
Family Vision
One of our main visions and burdens is to see families serving together to reach their communities with the truth of God's love and holiness. In a culture where broken and divided families are not viewed as something unusual, we desire to encourage a return to Biblical values and standards from which our nation and many churches have largely strayed. We have personally experienced the exciting ways the Lord has drawn us together through this common purpose and goal, and we long to see many families striving together to use whatever abilities and gifts the Lord has given them to impact the world around them.
Background & Vision
We attend a non-denominational, Bible believing fellowship of about 8 families in Ridgeland, WI. Many ask, and/or assume that our dress and life style stems from a church affiliation, and we like to explain that our choices in these areas have come gradually over years of Bible study and prayer. We rejoice in the truth that there is nothing we can do to earn or keep our salvation, and it's because of all that Christ has done for us that we desire to walk in obedience to what He has revealed to us from His Word. We are learning to rest in the perfect and finished work of Jesus Christ, and above all, glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in all that we do and say.
God's Provision through Employment
In 2007 God prompted Bill to step out by faith into a home based business. He now takes his tools and mechanical/electrical ability to the project site; or, if practical, will bring it home to repair it. We stand in continual awe at God's faithfulness in providing for our needs.
God's Provision through Music
It's been a faith-building journey for our family to observe how God's hand initially provided the instruments, later on a sound system, this website, and the host of other hidden expenses. We will continue to trust His providing hand for the other musical needs that we have. Some of our greatest blessings have been nursing and assisted living homes, homeless shelters, and other volunteer opportunities.
